Please note: The event is sold-out, and registration is closed.

Join us at the 2021 Global Symposium to reunite and reconnect with the LeadingRE community and focus on shared opportunities, innovation, growth and success.

We have selected a destination that shares this same spirit of opportunity: Dubai. Dubai's unique geographic location attracts tremendous wealth and talent to its real estate sector, allowing it to go from an outlier to a trendsetter in just a couple of decades. Dubai is also the site of Expo 2020 Dubai – which begins days before the start of our Symposium. The Global Symposium agenda includes an excursion to Expo 2020, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Looking beyond Dubai, we will study other global markets as we explore success strategies for today – with an eye on the future and the opportunities we share through the LeadingRE community.
We invite you to join us.

Cancellation Policy

We remain committed to the health and safety of our members and their guests and understand that the current environment carries a certain level of uncertainty. To that end, we have relaxed our cancellation policy to allow you to register for the Global Symposium with full confidence.

Full refunds will be available on all cancellation requests emailed to at any time. In event the Symposium is cancelled by LeadingRE, registration fees will be refunded in full. LeadingRE does not assume responsibility for any other related expenses, including but not limited to airline tickets and transportation.

Hotel reservations must be cancelled directly through the Shangri-La Dubai 24 hours prior to your arrival to avoid a one night penalty.

Important COVID Considerations

While we are excited to move forward with networking and learning opportunities at the Global Symposium, we are conscious of the challenges associated with the current COVID variants as we continue to promote these events.

Following the announcement from the CDC in late July that both vaccinated and unvaccinated people can transmit the current strain of the virus, we do not believe that requesting vaccination status provides additional safety assurances for attendees.

With an abundance of caution, we will proceed with the following guidelines:
1. All Attendees should be prepared to wear masks during the Global Symposium, whether vaccinated or unvaccinated.
2. If you are uncomfortable with this requirement, you may cancel your meeting registration without penalty up to 24 hours prior to the start of the meeting, and your hotel reservation 72 hours prior to arrival.
3. We will continue to work with each event venue to provide social distanced floorplans and safe space layouts for the meeting, and food/networking functions.

We regret this unfortunate turn of events, but our goal is to provide solutions that will make the largest number of members comfortable in attending our events. Please contact if you have any questions.

Visit Dubai

From Once a small fishing village in the Arabian Gulf, Dubai is today one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. One of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, Dubai is home to nearly 200 nationalities and offers a truly memorable experience to all visitors.

Whether it is by the banks of the Creek, or at the top of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building, Dubai lives and breathes a sense of possibility and innovation. And with an unparalleled coastline, beautiful desert and magnificent cityscapes, memories are just waiting to be made there.

Attire and Cultural Awareness

According to Dubai is a cosmopolitan city and a diverse melting pot where almost all attires and cultural expressions are accepted. Dressing conservatively is appreciated in Dubai's historic neighborhoods and places of worship. There are specific requirements for entering a mosque, like wearing clothing that covers shoulders, arms and legs – and headscarves for women. On our Dubai Desert Barbecue, conservative attire is required, including no exposed shoulders and knees. In addition, closed-toe athletic shoes should be worn, and a light wrap for the evening is recommended. Alcohol is served in licensed establishments to those over 21 years of age. However, drunk and disorderly conduct and drunk driving are not acceptable. Suggestions for greetings and useful etiquette tips can also be found on
